The expansion project of the Polyclinic Saint-François is fully part of the Nice-East Health Center with the new Pasteur 2 and the Lacassagne Center.
During the visit of the authorities to the site one year after the laying of the first stone, Dr. Marie-France Panzani, manager of the establishment, wanted to explain the objectives of this initiative: “this project meets the priority local needs of the Pasteur District and thus fully supports all the professionals of the Nice-East Health Center.”
The new center, which will be operational from fall 2015, will bring together several activities. It will include:
Training, seminar, and conference rooms available to any company, laboratory, association, and professional institution; a day hospital for nutritional rehabilitation; offices facilitating the expansion of medical activities at the Polyclinic Saint-François (consultations, hospitalization); an underground parking, partly public, with 92 spaces.
The Polyclinic Saint-François is now focusing on the implementation of its four flagship projects:
A furnished student residence to meet the housing needs of the Pasteur District, which is expected to host nearly 1500 medical students, caregivers, researchers by 2015…
The “de la Voie Romaine” daycare with adapted hours to facilitate the professional life of parents working particularly in the healthcare sector within the Nice-East Health Center but also for other businesses in the district.
The conference and training rooms: these rooms will be available for rent and can accommodate up to 150 people for events. A catering service can be offered in these rooms.
The restaurant: Open to the public during the week and mainly at noon, a catering service for events organized within the establishment or the conference center.
