Will there be even more people taking advantage of the pedestrian quays on July 16?
On June 25, the first evening event was held to stroll, dine, and enjoy shows on the quays with family or friends.
Given the success of this first evening, it was decided to repeat the formula: the second “Saturdays at the Port” evening will take place next Saturday, July 16.
These evenings are organized by the Association of Restaurateurs, Merchants, and Residents of the Port of Nice, presided over by Marie-Claire Solari. The idea was born from the restaurateurs and merchants of the port.
At 7 PM, the traffic roads are partially pedestrianized.
The first section is located on the upper quays of Lunel, between the exit of the Infernet parking and the Robilante barrier. The second is on the upper quays of Deux-Emmanuel (left lane only) and the entrance to the port.
Once the port is handed over to pedestrians, the transformation takes place. The upper quays turn into both restaurant dining areas—with exceptional authorization allowing restaurateurs to expand their terraces on either side of the roadway—and performance stages!
Music concerts and theatrical performances—the program is not yet fully finalized, but one thing is certain: summer is off to a great start at the port.
