This autumn, Nice artists Tina de Rubia and Richard Roux-Giuge will take up residence on the walls surrounding the Puces de Nice to display their “Portraits of Contemporary Humanimality.”
They follow in the footsteps of artists Moko Madโmoiselle (Stรฉphanie Chotia), Loic Deltour & Lionel Bouffier, who last spring presented two complementary photography series titled “Crossed Glances,” and Eric Garence, who exhibited his “Phoenix” this summer.
Tina de Rubia collects old worn posters and various papers from the street to give them a second life and tell new stories through a mixed media technique. Richard Roux Giuge reworks images and creates hybrid beings with ink and brushes on various reclaimed materials.
These two artists have combined their techniques, enhanced them with a keen sense of color, which inspired them to work on a larger scale, outdoors, serving street art and ephemeral art.
