After the torrential rains that ravaged part of the Alpes-Maritimes on Friday, the firefighters provided a latest, still provisional, update on Tuesday: four deaths in the towns of Saint-Martin-Vésubie, Lantosque, and Colomars. Eight people are missing and 13 others are presumed missing.
More than 600 people are deployed on the ground in the Vésubie and Roya valleys. Twelve helicopters are still in the area. The firefighters continue their search, debris clearing, evacuation, and supply missions.
