Three agents from the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes were awarded the Internal Security Medal by the President of the Department, Eric Ciotti, for their exemplary commitment in serving the victims and their families from the very first hour following the tragic attack on July 14th.
The official also honored the bravery of an agent who was present on the Promenade des Anglais that evening by presenting him with the Department’s medal for his courage on that tragic night.
According to Eric Ciotti, “The awarding of an Internal Security Medal is, by the merits it recognizes, an event in itself.”
