Born in the Paris region in the spring of 1968, Lauriano Azinheirinha pursued studies in speech therapy in Paris. He works at the Functional Rehabilitation Center of the Saint Vincent de Paul Hospital, taking care of children with Down syndrome. Subsequently, he joined numerous Medical Psycho-Pedagogical Centers, consistently placing the child’s interest at the heart of his actions.
In 1993, Lauriano Azinheirinha discovered a passion for public service by obtaining a third cycle degree in Political Science in Local Public Policies. He worked within numerous local authorities in the fields of childhood and education.
In 2001, Lauriano Azinheirinha, accompanied by his family, moved to Nice where he worked as a parliamentary assistant for Deputy Rudy Salles.
His first political commitment came in March 2008, on the Nice Ensemble list led by Christian Estrosi who naturally offered him the position of Deputy Delegate for Education and Youth for the City of Nice. His regular presence in the field is recognized and praised by all.
From September 2009 to March 2011, Lauriano Azinheirinha was the general councilor of the 6th district (Pasteur-Cimiez-Libรฉration) in charge of integration, and is currently a delegate for people with disabilities.
