This interactive CD-ROM is intended for CM2 students of Niรงoise schools and highlights the Nice Carnival.

A significant, festive, and popular event in Niรงoise life, internationally known, the carnival is an essential element of our intangible heritage.

Initiated by the City of Nice and produced by the Regional Center for Educational Documentation of the Nice Academy, this educational resource offers, on the theme of the carnival, interactive games, music, songs, and presents its history…

For its creation, Annie Sidro, a recognized historian of the Carnival, provided her knowledge and archives. She will be present for this presentation, as well as 150 children who will perform the song “Adieu Paure Carneval” for the occasion, before receiving the CD-ROM.

Last year, a CD-ROM raising awareness about the Niรงoise language and culture, its history, and geography, was distributed to all CM1 and CM2 schoolchildren.
