The State has granted the Eco-Valley the status of an Operation of National Interest, so that the entire area can reach a higher level of economic and social development, influence, and eco-exemplarity, both nationally and internationally.
The Eco-Valley now has a solid foundation, defined by both the State and the local authorities gathered within the board of directors of the EPA*, relying notably on significant studies conducted since 2009 by the establishment and its partners, now completed.
The Territorial Project, notably through the consultation process that involves representatives from the State and local authorities, economic and social players, representative associations, the mayors of the OIN perimeter, and the population, will allow for the sharing of the vision for this strategic area, and the gathering and formalization of the major development and planning principles that will serve as a reference for the next twenty years.
The Consultation launched around the Eco-Valley Territorial Project
has allowed six stakeholders’ workshops to be conducted.
*The public development establishment is the partnership tool between the State and local governments, the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, the Alpes-Maritimes General Council, the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Region, and the inter-municipal communities of the Côteaux d’Azur and the Vallée de l’Estéron.
