The National Rally in the Alpes-Maritimes is ready for action two and a half months before the first round of the presidential election. A public meeting, a friendly gathering around a king cake, took place this Wednesday evening in Carros, north of Nice, in this municipality that will vote again in March for the municipal election.
MEP Nicolas Bay was present, as well as Nice city councilor Philippe Vardon, RN departmental delegate Lionel Tivoli, regional councilor Alexandra Masson-Bettati, one of Marine Le Pen’s campaign spokespersons, and others.
“We can see that Emmanuel Macron is trying to use the health crisis to stifle the campaign and deprive the French of their election. We can lament a form of division within the national camp, but at some point, we will need to unite, if not possible in the first round, then at least in the second, to offer a clear alternative and prevent Emmanuel Macron from being re-elected as head of the State,” said Nicolas Bay, RN MEP.
Lionel Tivoli, RN delegate in the Alpes-Maritimes, called for the loyalty of RN supporters “not to scatter the patriot camp’s votes. We cannot afford five more years with Emmanuel Macron,” he declared.
