Organized by the Public Security Sports Association, the Cursa de Natale, now in its 17th edition, aims to be above all a gathering marked by festivity. “The practice of sport is the universal school of humility. Every athlete discovers themselves when they confront an obstacle!” says Philippe Espallargas, its President.
This 10 km race within the princely city is open to everyone. As a precursor to this event, two courses of 1.5 and 2.7 km are organized for children aged 7 and above.
The route winds through the Monegasque streets but there’s no time to loiter! It includes two quite selective climbs: the Rampe Major which leads to the Palace Square and the Ostend climb which ends at the famous “Camembert” of Casino Square.
The “cursa de Natale” is also a humanitarian action.
The ASSP and its president, Mr. Espallargas, are leading an action against the desertification of the Sahel. Niger, particularly affected by drought and soil depletion, benefits from this project. For each registration, โฌ2 will be donated and two trees will be planted
