The Regional Association of Local Missions is bringing together, during these meetings, the entities that support the sponsorship networks.
Sponsorship is based on the mobilization of networks of volunteers who help young people facing difficulties entering the job market towards employment. The sponsors, whether active or retired, enable their protégés to access the world of work and employment more easily through their relational networks and knowledge of companies.
The sponsorship networks also help combat all forms of discrimination, create social bonds, forge new forms of intergenerational solidarity, and change mindsets.
These friendly Sponsorship Meetings aim to:
Value the actions of the sponsors and the supports of the Sponsorship network;
Promote this system to recruit new sponsors, especially business leaders or employees.
On November 8, a review of the past year will be presented. A round table on the theme “The Role of the Sponsor: Fundamentals and Evolutions” will bring together employment partners, institutional representatives, and business leaders.
These meetings will also be an opportunity to hear testimonials from sponsors and sponsored youths.
