“Protect yourself against mosquitoes”: a large-scale prevention and training campaign against the tiger mosquito

In connection with the Regional Health Agency and the CODES, the City of Nice will also host a training and presentation workshop for the educational kit “Le Mouskit” this Tuesday at 27 Delvalle.

Originating from Asia, the Asian tiger mosquito is smaller than its European counterpart and is a potential vector for diseases such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya.

The City of Nice is launching a large information and prevention campaign titled “Démoustiquez-vous” (“Get Rid of Mosquitoes”), to enable the residents of Nice to adopt simple actions to curb the proliferation.

The “Démoustiquez-vous” campaign will notably include flyers indicating all the preventive measures to adopt.
