The elected official, a doctor by profession, belongs to the MRC, a component of the presidential majority, and he also holds the position of municipal councilor in La Trinité.

Already a major player in economic development, the Region will very likely see its competencies in this area expanded by the Act III of decentralization.
While regional programs like the JEREMIE guarantee fund or the PACA Investment Fund are already useful tools to meet the competitiveness challenge in our territory, the Public Investment Bank, whose project is being developed at the national level, will be an undeniable dynamic tool, a one-stop shop of primary importance to make economic development and productive recovery a success.
