The elected official, a doctor by profession, belongs to the MRC, a component of the presidential majority, and he also holds the position of municipal councilor in La Trinité.

polski-2.jpg The Regional Executive has been recently revised by the President of the Region, Michel Vauzelle.

New responsibilities have thus been assigned to the regional councilor Ladislas Polski. Previously delegated to the Regional Health Houses, he maintains responsibility for this system, which has already implemented around twenty projects across the entire regional territory to help reduce inequalities in access to care.

The new delegation assigned to him on economic development touches upon a mandatory competence of the region, the stakes of which are crucial in the economic and social context that our country and region are experiencing.

Ladislas Polski is already tackling the issues of his new delegation in connection with the national objectives recently reiterated by the regional commissioner for productive recovery, Roger Reuter: “to be curative, preventive, and offensive.”

Already a major player in economic development, the Region will very likely see its competencies in this area expanded by the Act III of decentralization.

While regional programs like the JEREMIE guarantee fund or the PACA Investment Fund are already useful tools to meet the competitiveness challenge in our territory, the Public Investment Bank, whose project is being developed at the national level, will be an undeniable dynamic tool, a one-stop shop of primary importance to make economic development and productive recovery a success.
