The desire to create a “green lung” in West Nice since 2008 has given rise to this project. A 30-hectare park will span two kilometers.

The agricultural vocation is a structuring economic element of the area.
The green and blue networks of the metropolis will be extended. The plant species will be suitable for the Mediterranean climate.

Routes

A pedestrian and cyclist bridge will connect the Mercantour road to the Equestrian Club, passing through the north of the Arboras. Then, pathways will cross the agricultural area up to Saint-Isidore.
Before the Charles Ehrmann stadium, the new Promenade of Paillon will run alongside the sports plain facilities for 1.2 km. Fields, playgrounds, and sports recreation areas will entertain all ages.

Details

The park will be accessible from the tramway and Boulevard du Mercantour.
Various themes will be addressed.
