In Albi and Saint Louis during the national and hopeful championships, under difficult weather conditions, the NCAA athletes confirmed their competitiveness on the national level by winning 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals.

As for Dean Nick Allen, he won the silver medal in both shot put and discus with distances of 16.23m and 50.84m, and Mathieu Charles also won silver in the 1500m, clocking 3’58’’33 in a tactical race, despite having achieved a personal best of 3’44’’44 the previous week.

At the same time in Saint Louis, Alsace, the young multi-event athletes stood out. Yasmina Agbi, after a fierce 800m, managed to reach the second step of the podium with a total of 4763 points. This performance should open the doors to the French junior team for her. Cadets Xavier Vidal and Sébastien Thierry, still newcomers to this specialty, took the 7th and 9th places in the French championship with 6253 points and 6028 points.

For Rouguy Diallo, the recent junior French record holder in the triple jump, she secured her ticket to participate in the Junior World Championships scheduled in July in Eugene, USA, by winning the selection event in Conflans Saint Honorine.
