Created 25 years ago, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles will set off for the first time from Nice this afternoon.
The crowd is expected to be as large as on major event days today on the Promenade des Anglais to witness the start of the 25th edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles. The race, which is exclusive to women, promises to be once again very spectacular.
This year, there are plenty of Gazelles taking on the challenge, with no less than 132 teams from 13 different nationalities participating in the adventure. Whether in a car, quad, motorcycle, or truck, they all aim to have fun and reach the finish line in Essaouira, Morocco, on April 4th.
Day’s program:
11 AM: photo with all the teams near the official village, on Centenaire beach
11:30 AM: unveiling of the “Cœur de Gazelles” plaque by Christian Estrosi, deputy mayor of Nice, Marina Vrillacq, president of the Cœur de Gazelles association, Dominique Serra, president of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles, and by Professor Maurice Schneider, president of the League Against Cancer 06
