More and more, men, women, and children come and go with nothing but fears and humiliations as their baggage. With no welcoming land, prevented from arriving – camps or graves or nothing – they travel by land and sea routes.
Poetry, which knows not to write for but by and within what we are given to feel and live, gives voice and figure to all those/things in need of it.
