Real-time information for Scolabus

Latest News

Since January 1st, the Metropolis has been providing student transportation across the 46 municipalities. Thus, every day, 18,000 young people from the coast to the highlands benefit from a quality public service to get to their schools, with more than 20 metropolitan sales and subscription points, including 4 newly created ones.

To further modernize it, the Scolabus system will be equipped with a website accessible to everyone, allowing communication on bus schedules, days, and routes by municipality, the addresses and schedules of schools, urgent information, etc.

This unique space allows for the delivery of comprehensive information provided by the different stakeholders involved: parents, schools, carriers, town halls, road service, and more.

In addition to this new website, flyers and explanatory brochures are distributed in town halls, schools, associations, and sales points.

Posters equipped with the “flashcode” system are installed on town hall boards or at the entrance of establishments to allow users to download the “SCOLABUS” application in a “flash” via their mobile phones.

The second phase of this service development involves a truly interactive map that will reflect real-time road traffic conditions to inform users of various issues: roadblocks, bad weather, bus route stoppages, accidents, exam periods, etc.

Emergency and warning messages will be sent simultaneously to parents on their respective mobiles via SMS.
