Latest News

In 2024, the Côte d’Azur airports welcomed 14.8 million passengers, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. A satisfactory outcome coupled with a 93% reduction in direct emissions since 2013.

In 2024, the Côte d’Azur Airports (ACA) welcomed a total of 14.8 million passengers. This figure marks an exceeding of the 2019 levels, confirming a solid recovery after the years of the health crisis. Among the 122 available destinations, long-haul flights have particularly developed. Notably with five connections to the United States, two to Canada, and six to Gulf countries.

“Directly connecting the Côte d’Azur to major regional cities and international capitals is a necessary and sustainable response to the need for mobility,” states Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Management Board of the Côte d’Azur Airports.

To accompany this growth, works are underway on Nice’s Terminal 2. A new international boarding lounge will open by 2025, ahead of an expansion planned for 2026, which will increase the annual capacity to 18 million passengers.

Reducing the Carbon Footprint

The Côte d’Azur Airports continue their environmental strategy. Since 2013, emissions under their direct control have been reduced by 93%. In 2024, electrification works on aircraft stands began in Nice. This aims to allow a future reduction of 6,000 tonnes of CO2.

Similar actions have been initiated at the Cannes Mandelieu and Golfe de Saint-Tropez locations. These sites will use alternative fuels. Additionally, a reforestation program enabled the planting of 4,800 trees in 2024.

Solidarity actions have also been strengthened. The partnership with Restos du Cœur facilitated the collection of 75,000 products prohibited in cabins, a 9% increase compared to 2023.
