First day as President of the Region for Christian Estrosi who, this morning, in the assembly room will symbolically receive from his predecessor the red and yellow (or blood and gold for traditionalists) sash that will officially confirm his victory in this election, which will be remembered for a long time and will leave a mark in political history.
He will be applauded by his peers and particularly by his running mates under the leadership of his loyal lieutenant, Pierre-Paul Leonelli, appointed president of the group “Union for the Region.”
This designation demonstrates Christian Estrosi’s desire to have a highly bipartisan approach as he himself pointed out by drawing a comparison with the appointment of ministers with leftist leanings in Sarkozy’s first government.

Moving on to current events, it is known that Renaud Muselier will be the First Vice-President and right-hand man, in addition to being the advocate for Marseille’s interests, we await the announcement of other delegations to better understand the distribution of roles and influence of each territory through its elected representatives.
Faithful to his principle, Christian Estrosi aims to immediately give a strong impetus to the implementation of his program, which, it is worth recalling, was rich in promises.
It is easy to imagine that the transportation dossier will be at the forefront: if we want the trains to run on time, the first thing is not to waste too much time.
But, for the moment, it’s time for the coronation…
