Exit Benoît Kandel, the right-wing list Debout la France is also changing its name: it will be called “Rassemblement de la Droite Républicaine” and will be led by Noël Chuisano and represented in the Alpes-Maritimes by Stéphanie Gibaud.
It aims to reach right-wing voters “who do not want to support candidates compatible with Macron or vote for the Rassemblement National” according to a statement.
Noël Chuisano is a municipal councilor in Manosque, and Stéphanie Gibaud is a former banking executive.
According to forecasts, this list is not expected to achieve great success in the first round and should converge or call to vote for the Rassemblement National list at the runoff.
Moreover, “nomen omen” (as the Latins used to say), among Rassemblement one can only… gather, right?
