The tragic events in Paris have had an immediate impact on the election campaigns, which are taking a pause.
Statement from Christophe Castaner: “Immense emotion in the face of the tragedies affecting our country, I am suspending my election campaign and that of my team until further notice. I ask you to keep your trust in our security forces to protect our Nation.”
The same for Christian Estrosi: “In light of these events, I have taken steps to suspend my campaign until further notice.”
