The Unsubmissive have decided: they will not present a list in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur for the upcoming regional elections in June. The question arose after Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s movement was excluded from discussions with other left-wing forces.
“Despite all our attempts up until this Monday, the last day for submitting regional lists, EELV, the PS and the PCF have maintained their decision to exclude La France Insoumise,” explained LFI in a sent statement.
The “Ecological and Social Rally” list will ultimately be led by environmentalist Jean-Laurent Felizia, a municipal councilor in Le Lavandou (Var).
The Unsubmissive have also chosen not to issue voting instructions: “Let everyone decide how to use their ballot,” they stated.
