After the first round last Sunday, the MoDem is calling its voters to “Come together to defend the essential”.
Its departmental president Fabien Benard points out the real issue of the result: “We cannot resign ourselves to making our region the laboratory for such a disastrous project, offering, to his aunt Marine, a springboard for 2017.”
The task is daunting but he remains confident: “We also remain convinced that the abstainers, still far too numerous, that the left-wing forces harshly affected, that all those who share this republican heritage can come together next Sunday behind Christian Estrosi to defend the essential against a very real threat. It is in MoDem’s DNA to build the bridge between these people and the #CaVaChanger list.”
To ultimately show the way: “The people of the Left must be heard and the MoDem will make the connection”, whose motivation is found: “Beyond our differences, let us fight together for Democracy and our Republican Values.”
The logical conclusion follows: “But to achieve this, we will need to properly respect all goodwill. This time we, the democrats of MoDem, commit to reminding him throughout his mandate, if he wins on Sunday, that he will also have been elected by left-wing votes.”
What generosity!
