It is now the turn of the Occitan Party to declare and confirm its alliance with the reformist left of Christian Castaner. Besides, Anne Marie Hautant and Hervé Guerrera were part of the outgoing majority, so…
The Partit Occitan wanted a wide union of ecologist and left-wing forces that currently govern this region.
Furthermore, the weight of the far-right, behind which a part of the “republicans” are rallying, and the unacceptable risk of seeing our region fall into the grips of the FN also justify a regional union as broad as possible from the first round.
For these reasons, for the human qualities of the candidate, his ability to listen, and to integrate alternative proposals, we are joining today the gathering led by Christophe Castaner.
