The judge in charge of electoral disputes at the Avignon court has indeed ruled the request inadmissible. The request had been filed by five residents of Avignon who aimed to remove the RN/France populaire leader in the Paca region from the electoral lists due to what they considered to be questionable domiciliation in Avignon.
His lawyer raised this inadmissibility this morning during the hearing, explaining that the request had been filed late, eight days after the updated electoral lists were published, while the electoral code sets a limit of seven days for filing any such request.
