The Region is investing 469,040 euros into the creation of the Alzheimer Institute, providing significant assistance towards establishing a care facility for dependent elderly individuals and a day center in Nice, which is intended to become the reference center for Alzheimer’s disease in France.
This financial support will contribute to the development of a facility notably equipped with an information and training center for the public and practitioners, a “Memory” center for screening, monitoring, education, and research, a clinical research unit, a day center, a temporary accommodation unit, and a long-stay residential facility.
The Region has thus decided to support an initiative aimed at dependent elderly people, in line with the proactive policy it is implementing in the field of health.
