During a visit to the Verrerie de Biot, Christian Estrosi, president of the PACA region, announced the release of an exceptional aid of nearly €1.5 million in favor of the municipalities and economic actors severely affected by the October 2015 storms.

This exceptional package is part of the assessment of aid provided in the aftermath of the floods and is added to the €6 million already released.
From this sum, €600,000 will be allocated to the exceptional solidarity fund managed by the Regional Chamber of Trades and Crafts. This package will help businesses, artisans, and shopkeepers who have suffered considerable damage.
Additionally, €824,000 will be awarded to six municipalities in the department severely affected to carry out reconstruction work: Antibes, La Roquette-sur-Siagne, Mougins, Opio, Le Rouret, Vallauris.
