Following the initiative of the Cรดte Azur Tourism Committee (CRT) which aimed to revitalize the region through the “Cรดte Azur France” brand, it is now the turn of the PACA* Region to step into the sphere of communication and promotion by leveraging a globally known platform, TripAdvisor.
Culture, history, climate, gastronomy: this international campaign, named “French Marvels,” aims to “strengthen the regionโs appeal” and “highlight its numerous tourist and economic wonders,” the promoters announced during a press conference in Paris which will be replicated on Tuesday in Nice.
The campaign, designed by the teams at Publicis group, also relies on a partnership with TripAdvisor, a tourism review platform that claims 390 million unique visitors per month, with the objective of “finding amplified resonance through the international community of travelers.”
Christian Estrosi, president of the region, welcomed this “strong initiative.”
Tourism in the PACA region suffered a decline after the attack on July 14th in Nice on the Promenade des Anglais, where 86 people died.
