René Frégni will discuss his novels with around twenty young people aged 11 to 13 on Wednesday, April 8, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alain Lefeuvre Library (29 boulevard Paul Montel, Nice).
Supervised by the coordinators from ADAM and La Semeuse organizations, the children will conduct an interview with the writer and a video report on this meeting. They will then proceed to edit the filmed sequences.
In parallel to the meetings organized as part of the “Reading for All” initiative, a project was carried out in partnership with the city policy service, the Alain Lefeuvre Library, and the associations to sensitize children to the profession of journalism: from preparing to conducting the interview, from organizing the room as a “TV set” to video editing.
Continuing René Frégni’s program in Nice:
As part of the first sessions against illiteracy, “Reading For All” participates in the general movement of reevaluating language. Since September 2008, once a month, a writer comes to Nice to share with youths in difficulty the process that led him to writing.
