Reopening of the Expression Bookstore in Châteauneuf de Grasse

Latest News

After a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule at the beginning of the summer, a move, and a quick setup last week, Librairie Expression reopened its doors on Monday, September 21.

On the occasion of launching the crowdfunding on the Ulule site, we mentioned the Librairie Expression in Châteauneuf de Grasse, an original and independent bookstore created in 1991 by Jean-Paul Paillard. After raising more than €6,500 (initial goal of €3,500), the bookstore moved and took possession of its new premises last week.
In the place des pins, at number 10, the bookstore settled in larger and brighter premises but managed to keep the warm atmosphere of its original location. The shelves emit a pleasant wood scent, the spaces are vast, with a large area reserved for children’s books and games, and of course, many storages for all types of literature, making it even harder to leave empty-handed!
The café space has also expanded, featuring a beautiful terrace sheltered from traffic.

The creative leisure workshops for children resume this week (Wednesday, September 30, 2015, starting at 3:30 pm, Fimo clay and modeling workshop, led by Sylvie. Participation €8 and registration at the bookstore (limited seating). Snack included, ending around 5:30 pm.)
