The Li Rateta Beach Club, which was inaugurated last year at 71, Promenade des Anglais, reopened on Monday, July 6.
This space of over 1,000 m², located near lifeguard stations, includes a supervised private beach, a 300 m² enclosed pool under the supervision of a Lifeguard, a 100 m² shaded area, as well as a 100 m² pergola equipped with misting systems.
Nautical, aquatic, and beach sports activities are offered to children by the City of Nice, either as individual or team sports: supervised swimming, water-polo, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, as well as hip hop dance, zumba, beach tennis, badminton, kamjam (Brazilian frisbee), trampoline… The children are supervised by a dedicated team of 4 facilitators holding State Diplomas in sports or recreation.
The club is reserved for all children aged 6 to 12, whether or not they are enrolled in leisure activities (all children in municipal and associative leisure centers under the Childhood and Youth Contract will automatically benefit from a half-day at the Li Rateta beach).
