On Friday, September 29th at 7 PM, the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) will proceed with the release of an Eurasian Eagle-Owl in the territory of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, in Saint-André-de-la-Roche.

The Eurasian Eagle-Owl, also known as the Bubo bubo, is a species of nocturnal bird of prey found mainly in Europe. Standing at 75 cm tall, the Eurasian Eagle-Owl is the largest nocturnal bird of prey in Europe. It is a protected species, as are all birds of prey in France.
