Restaurant: Captain Cook in St Jean Cap Ferrat

Review of the Little Gem:

Nestled in a corner of the peninsula, Mrs. Pelletier and her bow-tied waiter will deliver very meticulous and attentive service in a calm and refined atmosphere, which may even seem a bit stiff compared to other Nice restaurants. The predominantly Anglo-Saxon clientele appreciates its very “cottage-like” marine decor and remains loyal to the specialties of the chef–and owner– Mr. Pelletier: Octopus Salad, Bisquebouille, beautifully crafted regional fish braised in the oven, and what some of our colleagues say is the best fish soup on the peninsula. Add to this a fine wine list and reasonably priced menus, and one can easily forget the time needed to find parking. And to assert confidently: the Port isn’t the only place to enjoy seafood in St-Jean!
