Latest News

Following the semi-final of the Nice Zik Zak springboard that took place on Wednesday, December 15, at the Lino Ventura Theatre, the three groups selected to benefit from the La Ruche support project are:

Little d Big B [Indie rock]
The result of the meeting between the bands Milkyway and Pup’curl, now Little d Big B (referring to dB as in decibel) draw inspiration from bands such as The White Stripes, The Vines, and Arctic Monkeys to deliver a sound enriched by their diverse musical influences, aiming to conquer the new French rock scene.

Créateur de Sons Organisés [Electro folk]
Créateur de Sons Organisés is a young formation composed of Antoine, a multi-instrumentalist composer, and David on drums. Alternating between folk, pop, and electro, CSO offers us an ethereal universe served on a bed of reverb, directly inspired by Radiohead and their peers.

Did Koala [Folk – Pop]
Poetic and bucolic. These are the qualifiers that would best suit Did Koala, a musician wandering with his guitar wherever the good wind takes him. He is accompanied here by Diego, a virtuoso violinist, and Marin on double bass.

The support will begin in January 2011 and last for one year. The three groups will also participate in the final of the springboard, which will take place at the Théâtre de Verdure in September.

The “La Ruche” support program includes:

  • Artistic support.
  • A residency at the Lino Ventura Theatre.
  • Studio recording.
  • Professional training on live performance.

The grand prize for the winner of the springboard final in September 2011:

  • A slot during the 2011/12 season of Panda06 Production.

  • Promotion support (materials, identity, strategy, photo, video, …) by the Fonétiq communication agency.
