The Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) has just unveiled the figures for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
A financial performance in decline due to a loss of 28.4 million euros compared to a loss of 21.7 million euros for the previous year, despite a 6% increase in hotel revenue and stable gaming activity.
For the coming year, the outlook should be slightly more favorable, both for the gaming sector and for the hotel establishments, which have all experienced an increase in visitors since April 2012.
However, according to the leaders, “the unpredictable and seasonal nature of the activity does not allow for forecasts for the entire fiscal year, especially as the international economic climate remains very uncertain.”
