Rewatch Pierre Carles’ films, thanks to L’ECLAT

Latest News

On the occasion of the release of his latest film, L’ECLAT invites you to revisit the cult films of Pierre Carles, the famous television disruptor (Pas vu pas pris – Enfin pris? – and the remarkable portrait of Pierre Bourdieu, Sociology is a Martial Art).

What is the state of radical media criticism in France ten years after the publication of On Television by Pierre Bourdieu, The New Watchdogs by Serge Halimi, the journal Pour Lire Pas Lu/Le Plan B, and the films of Pierre Carles? It seems to be going strong, judging by how, in the new film Fin de concession, Carles and his companions set off again in 2009, eager and determined, to attack the TF1 fortress and the dinosaurs of French broadcasting.
In this new adventure, will the merry prankster end up being pranked?
