The reunion with the Parisians was highly anticipated in the Nice camp. The away game on December 3 had left a bitter taste: a 7-3 loss in the final minutes. The Azurรฉennes started this rematch at full speed and quickly took control. The Pitchounettes camped in the Parisian 50 for a good part of the match and focused on their strong point: driving mauls. The Nice mauls shook the Paris XV defense. The forwards played an excellent match: 3 of the 4 tries were collective! And ironically, the last one was scored by a former Parisian: Cindy Martinet-Montigny!

On their side, the Parisians launched a few attacks but failed to breach the defensive line of the Pitchounettes.

This match was very intense: the runs were incisive, and the impacts were very aggressive.

The quarters in sight

And the Pitchounettes were supported by a well-attending crowd! This last home game saw the stands a bit fuller than usual, much to the delight of the players.

This victory allows the Pitchounettes to maintain their second place, behind LOU. The players from Nice are thus qualified for the playoffs of Fรฉdรฉrale 1. They will face the 3rd of group 2 on April 22. For now, the Azurรฉennes have a month to prepare for the next phase of the championship, with the aim of going as far as possible. The girls are proving that Nice rugby is far from dead.
