The figures recorded for the entire year of 2016 show, compared to 2015, an increase in mortality, rising from 56 deaths on the roads in 2015 to 58 in 2016 (an increase of +3.6%). However, there is also a significant decrease in the number of bodily injuries (-255, a reduction of 15%) and in the number of injured people (-399, a reduction of 19%).
The number of victims has decreased over 13 years from 96 road deaths in the Alpes-Maritimes to 58.
