Yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, the Municipal Police of Nice put an end to rodeo activities on the Boulevard du Mercantour, near the Palais Nikaia. Three motorcycles were making back-and-forth trips at high speed and without helmets, endangering the lives of other road users and pedestrians. The three vehicles were intercepted and impounded.
One of the encounters proved particularly difficult. During his arrest, one of the drivers repeatedly struck and insulted a municipal police officer, necessitating the arrival of several teams and the establishment of a security perimeter.
The individual was presented to a Judicial Police Officer for rebellion and insults.
