For the third consecutive year, the magnificent Vichy basin hosted the French Rowing Championships for Junior and Cadet Long Boats this past weekend.

– 1588 entrants, 416 boats competing, 21 titles awarded, 3 for the Nice Nautical Club.

In Cadet Girls’ Four: Sophia CORNEILLE, Tricia CALVAN, Amina KERKOUR, Marianne BOUSQUET-TIBERGHIEN

The girls from Nice, after a solo run, left three contenders to battle it out for the remaining two medals.

Sophia, Marianne, and Amina will participate in the France โ€“ Great Britain Cadet Match in Gravelines (59) from July 14 to 15, 2012.

In Junior Girlsโ€™ Double: Elodie RAVERA, Megane BESSON

Teamed up with her partner Megane Besson, Elodie Ravera set off to claim a new national title, mission accomplished.

Elodie, Gael, and Adrien will go to a training camp with the French team from July 15 to August 12 to participate in the World Championship in Bulgaria from August 12 to 18.

In Junior Quadruple Sculls: Adrien CONSTANTINI, Gael CHOCHEYRAS, Jean-Guillaume LEGENDRE, Kevin PELBOIS

The rowers from Nice in the quadruple scull asserted themselves with great authority.
