A gang of Nice-based robbers has struck again in the Arcachon Basin. The loot is estimated at 3 titles of French sea rowing champions and 6 boats qualified for the A Final (representing all the CN Nice crews present, from cadets to those over 23 years old).

After the cadet and junior races, the seniors took to the basin to compete for the titles of French champions.
In the Women’s Coxed Four, the Nice crew, led by two European silver medalists, showcased a dominating performance and took the gold ahead of the Cassis AC boat. The Malouins completed the podium.
In the Men’s Coxed Four, the Malouins, who had once again demonstrated their mastery of the sea in the series, got off to a strong start in this final heading towards a new title, but this was without counting on the Nice team, waiting in ambush.
Led by their under-23 world champions, Quentin Varnier and Gaรซl Chocheyras, the Azurean rowers, initially falling behind, first caught up with the CA Thonon crew (who ended up 4th) midway through the race, and then went on to attack the St Malo boat in an incredible side-by-side battle.
The CN Nice crew clinched the title at the end of an intense race finish, with the St Malo and Avignon crews finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Cadets
The cadets, in their first year of participation in the national sea rowing criterion, were the first to start in the Mixed Coxed Four.
We witnessed an exciting battle between four crews, separated by only 15 seconds at the finish. The Nice team eventually won ahead of the Marseillais from Rowing, with Lorient taking the 3rd place just ahead of Aviron de Beaucaire.
