Today at 3 p.m., Stade Niçois will host their neighboring team from Grasse for the 3rd day of the French Federal 2 championship at the Arboras stadium this Sunday at 3 p.m. A derby not to be missed for rugby enthusiasts.
After the narrow defeat conceded by the first team at Bédarrides, the players will be eager to assert themselves in the Alpes-Maritimes derby to approach the rest of the competition calmly.
And, a derby isn’t really like any other match, and the Niçois will need courage and determination to bring down an opponent who certainly stumbled at Aubagne on the first day (13-12) but bounced back last weekend at home against Bédarrides (22-20).
With both teams having four points on the scoreboard, either side knows that a victory would allow them, if not to stay at the top of the standings, possibly even take the lead depending on the results of other matches that day.
A derby that’s worth a lot right from the start of the season, which will certainly be long, but which will have a different flavor whether one is the winner or loser of this first round…
