The visit of the 4th-ranked team in the group, this Sunday, January 12, will be an opportunity for the club to organize a great celebration in honor of Nice rugby. Kick-off is at 3 PM.
Stade Niçois is currently at the top of its group with only one defeat and one draw since the start of the season. The team aims to finish the group stages in this position, and this weekend’s match will be the first challenge before traveling to Bastia next week.
After a lukewarm start, the Berre team has benefited from the return of some key players to climb back up the rankings, asserting themselves more than ever as a contender for qualification.
On a streak of two victories, including one secured in Aubagne (the former leader of the group) on the last match day, CO Berre is traveling to Nice to achieve a result.
The club’s youth will be on the field from the morning as the children from the rugby school in the U7, U9, and U11 categories will take part in a tournament with other teams from the Côte d’Azur region.
A few U11 players will later be the ball retrievers for the first team’s match.
Inflatable structures will be set up for the children present on this day. The stands will be enlivened throughout the afternoon by a DJ.
A festive oval day that should live up to its promises at Les Arboras!
