A third defeat of the season for the Eagles
“Nice arrive as favorites.” These were the words of Vincent Etcheto, the coach of Angoulême, aware that the match would be difficult against the Azur team, and that they would need to deliver a very strong performance to win.
That was precisely achieved and the team from Nice return empty-handed as they head back to the Côte Azur, defeated for the third time this season.
After a strong second half, the locals won 27-10, following a more balanced first half: 13-10.
Lestremau and Roux scored the tries for Angoulême, while Koroll scored Nice’s only try. Ugalde (SA) on one side and Le Gall (SN) on the other contributed to the score with their achievements.
