Last Sunday, the Stade Niçois was defeated at home (22-26) by Vienne, and now it finds itself at a crossroads: either overturn the result of the first match and advance to the next qualifying round, or end the season with yet another disappointment in regard to its goal of promotion to Fédérale 1, a goal that remains hoped for and consistently postponed… until next year.
Regardless, their coach Davit Bolgashivili is blunt: “There’s nothing to calculate, we simply have to win.”
It won’t be easy, but it’s not impossible either: after all, his players scored three tries against a team known for its tough defense.
