More than 1200 kids aged 5 to 15 will compete on the field, respecting their opponents, in joy and good spirits, trying to win the “Aureliano Castillo” – “Octave Mayen” challenge, which is contested every year. The matches will be played at Stade des Iscles on Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25.
For the 3rd “Aureliano Castillo” tournament, 22 teams from Alpes Maritimes, Var, Corsica, Montpellier, Béziers, and Italy. There are 2 groups that include the U15 and U14 categories. A day in tribute and in memory of Aurélien, a player from our senior team who passed away too soon.
For the 14th “Octave Mayen” tournament, no less than 60 teams represented by 16 clubs from the previously mentioned regions.
All competitions will be officiated by young referees from the Alpes Maritimes refereeing school and the young referees from Stade Laurentin Rugby.
Over the two days, the Rugby School of Stade Laurentin Rugby, supported by club volunteers (parents, veterans, seniors, women, officials, and all club members), will host more than 2000 people.
This festival will be animated by the party specialist, Stéphan from the company For You Today.
