Sunday, April 8, at 2:00 PM at Yves Du Manoir Stadium in Montpellier, the 32nd round of the French Championship play-offs will take place, pitting the Cadets Alamercery of Nice against Tarbes.
The latter, coming from a very competitive pool (Begles Bordeaux, Dax, Bayonne, Mont de Marsan), will be the logical favorites for this match.
The coaches of Nice, Jean Pierre Rey and Fabrice Sirri, are diligently preparing for this confrontation.
“The squad is of high quality and focused on the event. Sunday’s match is a bit of the cherry on top of a rollercoaster season…
I know this group is capable of producing excellent rugby, as they have shown in certain matches this season. The motivation is there, and the players are dedicated and focused in training,” Jean-Pierre Rey tells us.
To conclude: “We are approaching this match with a strong mentality. I would like to thank the companies ACT BATIMENT Mr. Olivier Beraud and ACTIBAT Mr. Mendes for financing this trip, allowing us to leave the day before and prepare for this match in optimum conditions.”
We can only agree with the comments of the Nice coach, commend the spirit and passion of these young talents, and hope that their bravery will be rewarded with a positive result.
And for Sunday, just one rallying cry: ISSA NISSA!
