A painful start for the Nice rugby women! The result of 50 to 0 for Montpellier doesn’t really call for comments.
However, against stronger opponents, the women from Nice did not disgrace themselves in their first match of rebuilding. Despite the outcome, positive elements emerged from this new group united in solidarity and seriousness, with the players fighting until the final whistle.
A courageous resistance from the Nice team in the first half (0-15), but in the second half, the experience of the Montpellier team spoke loudly, thanks to good offensive organization and a lineup strengthened by players from their top-10 main team.
