The Stade Niçois U18 juniors claimed a 28 to 16 victory over Grasse in the Territorial final held in Mandelieu.
Facing the only team they had lost to in the group stage, the players coached by the duo Jandar-Delaigue secured a 28 to 16 win in the territorial final.
After having long hoped to play in the Crabos league (the highest level in their age category), the Niçois had their request denied, ultimately competing in the Balandrade league (second level).
This initial success confirms the potential of the group ahead of the upcoming national finals, which will begin on May 3rd.
In the other territorial final held in Mandelieu, the Phliponeau juniors lost in the 10th penalty shootout against Mourillon. The juniors experienced their first defeat of the season, as the match ended in a 10-10 draw.
